Josue, having been performing solidly for some years across the world, and most recently in London- is an assured and confident artist -and whilst steeped in the classic tradition of Brazilian singer/songwriters such as Marcos Valle, Jorge Ben and Seu Jorge, he has a fresh approach full of vitality - and once teamed up in the studio with Sunlightsquare's multi-talented Claudio Passavanti the results are breathtaking.

These brand new reinterpretations of the evergreen tracks; João Bosco's Nação and Jorge Bens' Taj Mahal are both a tribute to, and an extension of the rich seam of bossa nova, samba and Afro-Cuban rhythms that has made this music the timeless and deeply influential sound that has had the world dancing for over 50 years.
